Visiting the Hartman Aviation A320 Simulator
When I went to Zhuhai Airshow this year, I took the opportunity to visit friends in Shenzhen. Since I still had some time before leaving, I went to Hartman Aviation Culture Education (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. to play around in their A320 simulator. That was a month ago, and I can’t remember many details, but here is a brief record.
I booked via WeChat, 1299 yuan for an hour.
Compared to the 850 yuan for the JFlight A320 simulator I visited before, it is indeed more expensive.
But opportunities are rare, so I didn't care about the price difference.
Came in to check the equipment first,

Visiting the Techno Bird Simulator in Kobe
I found out online that a new flight simulation company has opened in Kobe, named Techno Bird Flight Simulator Center. They have a total of two simulators, a Boeing 737NG and a Cessna C172, claiming to be the only simulator shop in Western Japan. I happened to be on a business trip to Osaka, so I checked the reservation schedule and saw the C172 had an opening, so I booked it immediately and rushed over after work.

Flight Simulation Enthusiasts' Gathering FS Party in TOKYO 2016
Yesterday, I attended a gathering for flight simulation enthusiasts—FS Party—and decided to document it briefly.
FS Party is an event that has been running for 20 years, where Microsoft Flight Simulator enthusiasts from all over Japan gather annually. They bring their own computers and flight simulation equipment, set up a Local Area Network (LAN), and conduct group flying sessions.
I have never used Microsoft Flight Simulator, so I have always been out of touch with this event. However, invited by Mr. Y from Anabatic Simulation, I decided to go and join in the fun.

Revisiting LUXURY FLIGHT
I visited LUXURY FLIGHT again recently; you can find the record of my last visit here. My first visit was mainly out of curiosity to see how their hardware equipment was, and since there weren’t many customers at the time, chatting with the shop owner felt quite nice. This time, I wanted to use their equipment to practice manual flying, so I chose to fly for one hour each in the Baron B58 and the 737 NG simulators, practicing completely under manual control.

Introduction Video for Anabatic Simulation and LUXURY FLIGHT Simulators
The breakthrough for me in the flight simulation field this year was getting hands-on with some large-scale simulators. Such as the real C172 modification at Anabatic Simulation in Kyoto, the A320 FBPT at JFlight in Yokohama, the 737 FBPT at LUXURY FLIGHT near Haneda, and some non-public ones. In short, it was a real eye-opener.
The simulators introduced on this blog are high quality, and the shop owners are very professional, so I highly recommend everyone give them a try. This morning, I stumbled upon some great introduction videos (in Japanese) on YouTube. They were produced by some very professional flight simulation enthusiasts (apparently working at the company that develops the “I am an Air Traffic Controller” game series). The system introductions are easier to understand, so I’m sharing them here.
