X-Plane 11 to be released in November

X-Plane 11 has been released; please check out the latest report X-Plane 11 Free Demo Installation and First Look!

Seeing this webpage - X-Plane 11 Coming This Holiday Season, X-Plane 11 is indeed getting closer to us, and it will be officially launched next month.

There are several test images of the Cessna 172 on the official website. You can see that the texture of the aircraft surface is excellent, and the lighting is much more natural than the existing version. The realism in the 3D cockpit has greatly improved, making it very enviable.

The new features of XP11 listed on the website are as follows, although the introductions are very general.

  • A completely redesigned, intuitive user interface that makes setting up and editing your flight a breeze.
  • Consistently usable 3-D cockpits and stunningly high-resolution exterior models for all included aircraft.
  • A new effects engine for lighting, sounds, and explosions. Realistic avionics: all planes are IFR-ready right out of the gate.
  • Busy, "living" airports with pushback tugs and roaming fuel trucks, able to service both your aircraft and the simulator's AI planes.
  • New buildings & roads to better simulate European cities
  • ...and more!
  • One of the features I am most looking forward to is the ability to easily display components like the FMC to additional monitors, although details are not yet clear. Thinking that we can use XP11 in just over a month is truly exciting!
