Visite du Safety Promotion Center de JAL

Auparavant, j’avais rédigé des notes sur la catastrophe du vol JAL123 de Japan Airlines, leaving a profound impression on me regarding the deadliest air crash involving a single aircraft in aviation history.

To enhance safety awareness among employees, Japan Airlines特意在羽田的维修大楼里建立了安全启发中心, exhibiting wreckage from JL123, passengers’ belongings, etc., 并且还对外开放,供对安全性有关的公司和个人参观。

Recently, our company organized a visit here, so I signed up. Unfortunately, recording and photography are prohibited here, so I couldn’t retain any primary materials and can only write these impressions based on memory.

The visit lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes, guided by JAL staff. The content covered an overview of all 8 air crashes in JAL’s history, along with the specific sequence and cause analysis of Flight 123. These 8 crashes are: 1952年 N93043 1971年 JA8764 1972年 JA8012 1972年 JA8040 1977年 JA8054 1977年 JA8051 1982年 JA8061 1985年 JA8119 JAL123航班

Regarding the specific process and cause analysis, I basically already knew them. The biggest gain was seeing the actual wreckage and objects. The fuselage and seats, twisted beyond recognition due to the massive impact, were unbearable to look at. When seeing the wills written by the victims inside the aircraft, a young girl nearby couldn’t help but cry out loud. Although the number of aviation accidents is small, the visual impact of the hellish scenes is immense, truly terrifying…

Carefully observing the pressure bulkhead section related to the accident cause, I discovered it was just a metal plate, only 1-2 millimeters thick, tens of centimeters long, and only a few centimeters wide. It was this small thin sheet’s metal fatigue that took away over 500 lives!

I also wanted to hear how JAL strengthened safety management, after all, they haven’t had a single accident since ‘85, but it seems the explanation didn’t cover these contents. Perhaps this is JAL’s purpose in calling this place an Awareness Center, to make visitors understand the importance of safety, as for具体怎么做,答案还是让大家自己思考解决。
