Posting old photos under the COVID-19 pandemic 16 Mirage 2000D fighter
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I tried to stay at home as much as possible. To kill time, I ended up restoring some old photos. Continuing with photos from the airshow, the Mirage 2000 Fighter
The Mirage 2000 is a fourth-generation fighter developed by the French company Dassault. It is a multirole fighter featuring a delta wing design without horizontal tailplanes and a single-engine configuration. Currently, it is in service with 8 countries and regions, including France, India, and Taiwan. The Mirage 2000 is equipped with 2 DEFA 30mm cannons on the fuselage and has 9 hardpoints for carrying various weapons, including air-to-air missiles, air-to-ground missiles, and anti-ship missiles.
In 1988, due to delays in the development of the Rafale fighter, the French Air Force commissioned Dassault to develop a conventional ground-attack version, designated the Mirage 2000D. The Mirage 2000D uses the Antilope 50 radar but integrates French air-to-ground weapons and the latest electronic defense systems, as well as precision-guided missiles developed since the 1980s. The Mirage 2000D made its first flight on February 19, 1991, and entered mass production in 1993.
