X-Plane 11.35

I saw the X-Plane 11.35 Release Notes, so I took the weekend to do a quick upgrade and test. I haven’t found any major issues so far.

X-Plane 11. 35 Release Notes.

X-Plane 11.35b1 is an update that includes updated Gateway airports, FMOD sound for the Boeing B737-800 and KingAir C90B, improved aircraft systems, and landmark scenery packs for New York and Washington D.C.

New features and improvements

Updated fuel system Updated bleed air and pressurization systems Updated ILS data FMOD sound for B737 & C90B Updated art assets: New York landmarks Washington D.C. Landmarks new boats updated aircraft & sim objects New datarefs fuel_intro_time_prop fuel_intro_time_jet New autopilot type Collins65 Updated Portuguese translation

What was quite surprising was seeing quite a few Chinese airport 3D sceneries added to this version. Such as ZBBB Beijing Xijiao Airport ZBCD Chengde Puning Airport ZBCZ Changzhi Wangcun Airport ZBDH Qinhuangdao Beidaihe Airport ZBHD Handan Airport ZBLF Linfen Qiaoli Airport ZBLL Lüliang Dawu Airport ZBLX Beijing Liangxiang Airport ZBTS Tangshan Sannvhe Airport ZBXZ Xinzhou Wutaishan Airport ZBYC Yuncheng Guanyun Airport ZBZJ Zhangjiakou Ningyuan Airport ZGCD Changde Taohuayuan Airport ZGCJ Huaihua Zhijiang Airport ZGHY Hengyang Nanyue Airport ZGLG Yongzhou Lingling Airport ZGSY Shaoyang Wugang Airport ZGYY Yueyang Sanhe Airport ZUGU Guangyuan Panlong Airport

Apart from ZBBB, all are civil or dual-use airports. However, it is quite surprising for ZBBB, a military airfield, to appear in X-Plane. I did a quick test flight with the C172 and found nothing except the Runway. But that’s just as well; after all, it’s a military restricted zone, so it’s safer to be cautious…

Visited again recently. It actually hit me emotionally—reading this site of yours back in high school when I was clueless, then falling in love with flying, and then going to flight school. Now, six years later, going from a kid who knew nothing to logging over 900 flight hours just yesterday. Haha, time really flies.
