At FLIGHTSIMEXPO 2018 held in Las Vegas this June, Laminar Research provided an outlook on X-Plane 11.30. Recently, the video was published on YouTube.

These new features were introduced in Chicago scenery in X-Plane 11.25 and the future product roadmap, but watching the video might make them easier to understand. However, keeping up with Austin Meyer’s extremely fast English is not easy, especially when he explains the aerodynamic models, it is quite difficult to understand without specialized knowledge.

In the video, you can see him actually building a rocket model, and conducting an experiment by sticking it out of the sunroof of his wife’s car, which demonstrates his rigorous scientific attitude.

At the beginning of the video, you can see all members of the X-Plane development team. Surprisingly, they already have over ten people. With manpower comes productivity, let us look forward to the arrival of 11.30.
