Zhuhai Airshow 2016 Record: Part 3
Regarding the formation flying of the British Royal Air Force Red Arrows aerobatic team, I found their formation explanations on the official website, and referred to the analysis of Red Arrows maneuvers. Combining these with the photos I took, I have listed the various formations to create a reference page.
Formation 0: Formation Taxi Entry

Formation 1: Wall to Short Diamond arrival
First, approach from the north side of the airport perpendicular to the Runway direction, passing the venue in an arrow formation from behind the spectator area.
Then perform a vertical pull-up, simultaneously transitioning into a Diamond formation. After completing the loop, fly out to the right side above the Runway.

Formation 2: Shuttle Roll

Enter from the right side of the spectators in a Diamond formation, transform into a Shuttle formation along the Runway direction, and execute a Roll.

Formation 3: Apollo

Pass the venue in an Apollo formation from the left side of the spectators.

Formation 4: Swan to Fred Loop

Perform a vertical Climb in a Swan formation.

After completing the Fred Loop, transition into an Arrow formation and pass the venue to the right.

Formation 5: Tornado

This Tornado formation is very dynamic. The front 7 aircraft form an arrow formation, while the rear 2 perform a wide Turn to catch up with the lead aircraft.

They then transform into a 9-aircraft Arrow formation.
There are too many photos to post all at once, especially since there are 25 formations in total. So, I’ll stop here for today.
