A320 Load Sheet

From time to time, you can see A320 landing load reports on SNS. There is a great article on CARNOC on how to read an A320 load report.

I particularly like the section on the cause of the overload. For instance, if a landing is too heavy, there is data for a second touchdown (touchdown), whereas the introduction above shows 0.

Explanation of Terms in the Cause Section

AIDS (Aircraft Integrated Data System)

RALT: radio altimeter, ft Radio altitude, in feet

RALR: radio altimeter descent rate, ft/sec Rate of descent, in feet/sec, range -99.9 to 99.9

PTCH: pitch angle, degree Pitch angle, in degrees, range -90.0 to 90.0

PTCR: pitch speed rate, deg/sec Pitch rate, in degrees/sec, range -45 to 45.0

ROLL: rolling angle, degree Roll angle, in degrees, range -90.0 to 90.0

ROLR: rolling speed rate, deg/sec Roll rate, in degrees/sec, range -45.0 to 45.0

YAW: yaw speed rate, deg/sec Yaw rate, in degrees/sec, range -45.0 to 45.0

VRTA: vertical load acceleration, G Vertical acceleration (G), range -3.00 to 6.00

LONA: longitudinal load, G Longitudinal acceleration (G), range -1.00 to 1.00

LATA: lateral load, G Lateral acceleration (G), range -1.00 to 1.00
