Airbus A350 WXB Planned Visit to Haneda Airport
Finally have a chance to see an A350 in Tokyo. According to this report, as part of an Asian tour, the A350 will be staying at Haneda Airport for 2 days. The specific details are: Wednesday, November 19, around 15:30 Arriving at Haneda Airport from Seoul Gimpo, entering the JAL maintenance hangar for internal viewing Thursday, November 20 Demonstration and tour flight 12:45-13:55 Friday, November 21, around 13:00 Departing Haneda Airport, Destination is Hanoi, Vietnam
The aircraft registration number for this visit is “F-WWYB”, manufacturer serial number “MSN5”. It is the fifth test aircraft and the second A350 equipped with passenger seats. JAL decided last October to purchase 31 A350s (including 18 A350-900s and 13 A350-1000s) plus 25 options, expected for delivery in 2019, to replace the existing Boeing 777s. The A350-900 is the standard version of the A350 family, with a seat count of 315, while the A350-1000 is the stretched version, with a seat count reaching 369. (The shortened A350-700 has a seat count of 276.)
