Touring Japan in 2 Days: A Showdown of 6 Airlines
I previously introduced a unique travel project: The Unique JAL Air Travel Sightseeing Project - JAL Island Hopping which provided aviation enthusiasts with a full two days of pure flying, hopping between various islands.
Today, I discovered another similar project organized by ANA, called "~Domestic 6-Airlines Comparison, 2-Day Trip Around Japan~ A Special Project Utilizing ANA + All Codeshare Partner Airlines" It is also very interesting, so let me introduce it to you.
Let’s try translating the name of this travel project into Chinese: “2-Day Tour Around Japan, Continuous Travel on 6 Domestic Airlines, ANA Operated Special Project with Codeshare Partner Airlines” Hmm, quite a long name… But as the name implies, it is actually very easy to understand, right? I don’t need to explain it.
Let’s look at the specific itinerary:

Day 1: Fly from Tokyo Haneda Airport to Osaka Kansai Airport, flight time 1 hour 20 minutes, riding a StarFlyer A320; After a 1-hour stop at Kansai Airport, take an ANA B737 or A320 to Hokkaido Sapporo’s New Chitose Airport, flight time 1 hour 50 minutes; After a 1-hour stop in Sapporo, take an Air Do B737 to Sendai Airport, flight time 1 hour 2 minutes; Stay at a hotel next to Sendai Station that night, about a 20-minute train ride from the airport.
Day 2: Early morning, take the 7:35 AM IBEX Airlines CRJ (specific model unknown), flying for 2 hours and 10 minutes to reach Fukuoka Airport in Kyushu; After a 40-minute stop in Fukuoka, take an ANA DHC-8 again to fly to Tsushima Airport located in Nagasaki Prefecture, flight time 40 minutes; After about an hour’s stop in Tsushima, take an Oriental Air Bridge DHC-8 to fly to Nagasaki Airport, flight time 35 minutes; The journey’s last stop is flying back to Tokyo from Nagasaki, using an Asia Airways B737, flight time 1 hour 45 minutes.
The biggest feature of this travel project should be the ability to experience the services of numerous airlines within two days. Each company has a different personality; cabin decor, flight attendant uniforms, souvenirs, etc., will surely be attractive to aviation enthusiasts. Also, the aircraft types are very varied: A320, B737, CRJ, plus the turboprop DHC-8. Flying them continuously allows for a perfect comparison of comfort across different models. In addition, although the stopover time at each airport is not long, it is sufficient to buy some local specialties or enjoy local food. For aviation photography enthusiasts, it is even more charming, after all, being able to aerially photograph the whole of Japan within two days is a very rare opportunity. So personally, I think this is a very attractive travel plan.
You might want to ask how much this trip costs? The ANA website states it ranges from 100,000 to 200,000, so it seems the price fluctuates quite a bit depending on the reservation date and time.
