''New Sky Colors "Final"'

Previously, in the article How to make the sky bluer in X-Plane 10? Sky color settings, I introduced a method to change the sky color settings. The downside to this method is that the X-Plane system cannot save this setting automatically, so you have to reset it every time you restart X-Plane, which is quite troublesome. Today, I found out that there is actually a simpler method: the “New Sky Colors Final” Plugin/Addon, which can save you the trouble of setting it every time. Below is a brief introduction to the installation method.

First, download the Plugin/Addon from the official website x-plane.org. The address is http://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=18494. Click the download button, and a few download links will appear; you just need to click the sky_colors_Final.zip link. After downloading, copy the few image files from the compressed archive—sky_colors_clean.png, sky_colors_hialt.png, sky_colors_mount.png, sky_colors_orbit.png—into the X-Plane 10/Resources/bitmaps/skycolor directory, and the installation is complete.

After launching X-Plane 10, looking at the sky color again, it is indeed azure and vivid, much more beautiful than before.
