Last time I visited the Senkaku Islands in a flight sim, so can I also fly to Huangyan Island (Scarborough Shoal), which is also disputed with the Philippines? I checked today and found that the X-Plane world map is quite impressive; it was very easy to find. Below is a report on the flight situation.

First, I checked the approximate location of Huangyan Island on Google Maps.

It looked closer to depart from Subic Airport, so I launched X-Plane and selected the airport as RPLB.

After takeoff, I flew continuously towards a Heading of 280 degrees. An island appeared in the middle of the sea. Although Huangyan Island is actually an atoll in reality, not an island, it is unfortunately displayed as a very large island in the X-Plane scenery. However, since it is our territory, let’s make the best of it and fly around the island to exercise sovereignty. I noticed there weren’t any fishing boats nearby; is everyone on a fishing ban?
